Dr. Priya is presently working as Associate Professor MIT School of Education & Research, MIT Art, Design & Technology University, Pune. She has 11 yrs of experience as a teacher educator. She is a Gold medalist in Master in Education (M. Ed) from University of Pune. She stood third in University of Pune for B.Ed. examinations. She has completed her Ph.D. on the topic 'Multiple Intelligences Theory based Teacher Education Model'from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. She has Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers (CIDTT).

She has completed an online course conducted by Cambridge for becoming a program leader and now is a Cambridge certified program leader for Cambridge certificate in Teaching and Learning. She worked as a Master Trainer for CBSE Capacity Building Programme for Teachers and has trained around 500+ teachers in continuous and comprehensive evaluation and value education. She was felicitated by Hon'Kapil Sibal for being 1st person to complete European Pedagogical ICT License from NIIT. She was awarded IDEAL Teacher Award on 5th September 2016 by MIT group of institutions for contributing to the noble cause of Education as a dedicated and devoted teacher. She has co- authored a book on evaluation for B.Ed. students. She is an internal Board of Studies member for designing curriculum for courses under MIT School of Education & Research. She has designed curriculum for M.A in Education, Diploma in pre-primary teacher education and B.Ed. Her forte is in designing sessions for workshops on any topic related to education. She has designed sessions on value education, environmental awareness, inclusive education, time management, stress management, reflective practices, self-awareness, classroom management, multiple intelligences and Evaluation.

She is also chief superintendent of exams for the center school of education and research and involved in smooth conduct of exams at the center.

She is specialized in teaching Educational Evaluation and Mathematics Education to the teacher trainees. She uses teaching learning process which is interactive that is modified to meet her learners need. She has conducted many training programs on topics like multiple intelligences, effective teaching, active learning, understanding learner, reflective practices, life skills, time management, stress management and assessments. She has presented papers on topics like multiple intelligences, assessments, Inclusive Education, Cooperative learning, ethics in education, value education and flipped classrooms in national & international seminars. She has also published papers in international and national journals. She has also conducted academic audit for MIT chain of schools in Pune, Pandharpur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Loni Kalbor and Pune which involved lesson observation, interviews of the teachers and management representatives. She has developed reports of audit which involves detailed statistical and qualitative records of all the observations related to school, teachers, head of the students, interaction with students and management representatives.
