Dr. Geeta R Thakur, is a Professor at MIT-ADT University, Pune.  She has 17 years of teaching experience. She was Ph.D. Supervisor of University of Mumbai and currently Ph.D. supervisor of MIT-ADT University. She is guide for M.A. education of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)

She is an instructional designer and curriculum developer too. She has deep interest in e-learning and development of e-content in various forms.
She conducted many workshops and faculty development programme regarding making innovative instructional material, making use of Digital tools, ICT in education, life skills etc.

She has authored a book titled “Understanding Organizational Behavior of College of Education” and an edited book titled “Recent Trends in ICT in education”.

She has published 30 research papers in various national and international journals. Her 2 research studies are published  in ERIC. She has contributed in the curriculum development at various levels of academia.
She has developed e-content for e-PG Pathshala project of UGC and other projects. She has been the resource person for virtual classroom project.

She has served as an Associate Editor of Editorial Review Board of International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small & Medium Enterprises (IJESMES), Kathmandu, Nepal and International Journal of social scientific research Journal, International Scientific Journal of Contemporary Research in Engineering, Sciences & Management (ISJCRESM), India.

She conducts online training for teachers and created support system for teachers.

She is a meditation trainer at Heartfulness Organization at Mumbai.

She has taken up project for better learning outcomes at Municipal School through innovative planning, teaching, learning and evaluation through an initiative ‘RAINDROP’
